We all know and love this story. In Rossini’s sublime comedy, Cinderella’s wicked step-father and step-sisters try and prevent her from living happily-ever-after with her prince charming. Luckily for Cinderella, her fairy godfather, a valet with a talent for acting and the prince himself won’t let anything stand in the way of this happy ending.
